It is important to note that Res-Que does not receive grants like our large, local shelters.  We rely on smaller donations, fundraisers, and sponsors.  We do not have a paid staff.  All Res-Que "staff" are volunteers and all dogs are in foster homes of volunteers.  All of the money received goes towards the dogs.  The largest amount of our funds goes towards veterinary bills.  Please consider donating as ANY amount helps

Draego, pictured above, was our first rescue of 2019.   Draego fell out of a moving truck and was drug a good distance before the tether broke. His owners chose to drive off but good samaritans stayed with him until animal control came and rushed him to Sierra Veterinary Specialists.  Draego ended up losing his leg but his story doesn't end there.

Because of donations like yours, Draego completely recovered, found the best forever family, and he even has a sister now!  Draego is living his best life and it wouldn't have been possible without the outpouring of love and support from people like you!
