MISSION STATEMENT:  To save as many dogs as feasible, without thought to breed, throughout shelters in Northern Nevada and California. 

Res-Que is a Reno, Nevada-based dog rescue with a network of foster homes throughout Northern Nevada, focused on saving at-risk and medical-case dogs from local shelters as well as some in Northern and Central California. We operate without a central facility, relying on foster care, and work closely with area shelters to help reduce euthanasia rates while accepting a limited number of owner surrenders. As a smaller rescue without major grant funding, we depend on donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees to continue providing care -- especially for medical cases, which we take on as resources allow.
