Our girl Roxy is searching for the perfect home. Roxy is maybe two (foster mom could be wrong). She came to Res-Que and had a little Frenchsky puppy. Roxy is a little thin and currently is on a higher protein diet (nothing really elaborate or expensive) to help put a little weight on. She is doing great. Roxy is a friendly girl. She actively seeks out attention and thinks everyone is there to pay attention to her. That being said, Roxy is a diva. She does resource guard her human. She wants all of the attention and doesn't do well having to share so she will start arguments. Roxy seems to be especially fond of children. She quickly bonded with the children in her foster home and is happy to follow them like their shadow and is constantly climbing up in their laps. Roxy's ideal home would be no other dogs so that she can be queen. This doesn't mean she can't get along with other dogs because she does well in social settings. She may do well with an older dog that is less inclined to want attention. However, we would recommend no children under ten if there is another dog in the home. She does well with the cats in her foster home. Roxy is potty trained and walks on a leash. She enjoys car rides. Roxy is crate trained but she will bark if she doesn't want to be in the crate. She starts off at a whisper and gets more dramatic. This girl has such a personality and she isn't afraid to show it. She loves to cuddle and be right with her person. Roxy is treat motivated and knows how to sit. If you are interested in meeting this fabulous girl, please fill out an application at Res-Que.org
