One of our newest special needs rescues this week, sweet LEIA from a SoCal shelter. Have you considered fostering or adopting a special needs dog? Leia does walk and gets around fine but she also has some incontinence, not unusual for Frenchies with spinal issues. She has a slight wobble when she walks and just needs a quiet home and another dog to pal around with, although she would be fine as an only dog. She is extremely sweet and will be a great companion for someone. Right now Leia is on some pain meds and we are unsure if this will be forever, but likely not. Interested but apprehensive or not sure you can do it? You'd be surprised how doable and fulfilling it is. ❤️ Special needs dogs often find a very sad ending but we have found these dogs to be very resilient and happy with life. She would do best in a home with minimal stairs .
