Norman, Norman, Norman, such a cute little dude but he hasn't had a lot of interest. Norman is approximately 9 months old and he came to us after suffering from a prolapsed rectum. Unfortunately the first vet that saw Norman (in California) didn't do things properly, in fact we have no records on what exactly was done, then the owner waited weeks before surrendering him to New Beginnings Rescue in Merced and by that time he was pretty sick. Regrettably, he did end up prolapsing a second time. Norman did have a Coloplexy at our vet so he won't prolapse again but unfortunately he does have some fecal incontinence. We were hoping things would improve with time, it still could but this may be a condition he will have throughout his life. Other than the incontinence Norman is a normal little Frenchie puppy and now that foster momma has him feeling better he is playing and being a puppy. He is on a prescription diet through the vet. To be clear Norman does go outside and potty but he also will leak poop, he has no clue or control over that. Of all our special needs dogs right now, Norman is the easiest to maintain. He's cute, he's sweet, good with other dogs (cats unknown but cat testing is an option) and kids should be fine.
