Chip came to us a week ago. His sister and he were found by the side of the road after their mother had been hit by a car and killed.
He is about six months old, currently about 30lb
but based on the size of his paws he has some more growing to do. Chip is a bit unsure about people, so he is looking for a quiet home with patient owners to continue his training and confidence building. Initially he did not want anybody putting a leash on him, he has gotten much better with that and will still need work with the leash walking. Chip is crate trained. He is available for adoption to home owners only due to the fact that his mom was a pit mix. We don’t know about his dad, based on the color he could have some German shepherd or Rottweiler.
Kids 12 years or older please, he is still a puppy and gets mouthy when he wants to play. He definitely wants to be in a home with at least one other playful dog.
