Energetic, playful, lovable, conversationalist that gets very bonded to his human. Very mouthy, but gentle and talkative. Jumps for joy at the site of his human. Not good for kids younger than teen due to high chase drive and nipping.

So far, foster family has taken me on 2 camping trips. I'm perfect to have around because I stay close, but am a great guard dog. I'm not fond of strangers or being approached, and I let you know when I'm uncomfortable as I'm very vocal about it. But with time and treats, I do warm up to new people.
My biggest issues are separation. I was left alone a lot growing up, so I don't take well to being left alone now. I sleep in my crate in the same room as my foster family, but if they put me in there to go out I really don't like it. Not even chew toys or peanut butter filled bones help, and I LOVE pb filled bones.
I need a home with a lot of patience. Preferably someone that won't leave me alone for extended periods of time throughout the day. I still have training work to be done too, but I'm getting better learning not to jump up, beg, or talk back . I also have A LOT of love to share. I'm ok with other dogs, but my high energy means they either need to be patient or keep up! Apparently I'm ok with cats too, but my foster mom has not tried. I'm not a fan of strangers and jump a lot so unless it's older kids in the home, I'm not a good fit for families with young children.
I know it's going to break my foster mom's heart to give me up, I mean I'm super adorable with a cute butt, but my foster brother doesn't like to be bothered too much and all I want to do is play with him. I know she wants what's best for us both.
Please visit res-que.org to apply for me under. Adoption Info. ! I'd love to be your partner in crime

Best home: Adventure family, dog siblings as he has high separation anxiety. No young kids. Must have fenced yard as he has crate trauma.
