Meet Helen!
Foster contact: arose89445@gmail.com
Hello- My name is Helen and I am now accepting applications for my furever home. I am an active 1 year old Australian Shepherd who loves dogs and my people. Some of my favorite things include daily walks, tug-a-war, fetch, and snuggles. I am deaf but my foster parents say it is more of a blessing then a disability. I need to be in a home where I will be pushed to my full potential. I would be great at agility, frisbee, and even flyball. I do know hand signals for my name , sit, stay, come, and no. My foster parents work with me daily on my hand signals and walking on a leash. I am working really hard to learn manners and my foster mommy says I am doing great.
I have a personality to make a person smile and promise to love unconditionally. Due to being deaf, I probably wouldn't do well with small children as I get startled easily! Also, my future furever family will need to have experience with my breed and/or deaf doggies like me! I am still young and have a lot to learn.
