Are you looking for a big ol' goofball in your life? Our handsome boy Dodger is still searching for his forever home! Dodger is a Doberman/German Shepherd mix, under 2 yrs old. He is the sweetest and happiest dog you will ever meet, wonderful temperament (not timid or aggressive), but does need some training on manners since he was never taught them. He LOVES people, great with most other dogs, sorry, no cats. He knows basic commands, loves his crate, and enjoys exploring the great outdoors. Dodger would do great with an active family who can give him daily mental and physical exercise and he would make an excellent guard dog and hiking/running partner. He also knows when to settle down and relax and LOVES to snuggle. He can be a bit of a goof at times and will make you laugh, but that's why we love him! Dodger is very smart, driven, playful, loyal, sensitive, affectionate, can be stubborn at times, and needs to be with his people as much as possible. Doberman grooming needs are fairly minimal and they are easy to train with the right techniques. Due to some separation anxiety issues, Dodger needs to go to a home with another dog, no exceptions. He is neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped. An active home with a fenced yard, older children, someone home a lot or able to take him to work, and another dog would be an ideal fit for him. This guy can't wait to find his forever pack! Adoption through Res-Que requires contract, fee, and home check.
