Welcome Mason back to Res-Que. Gosh, where to start with this boy. When we first took Mason from the shelter, he was young and he seemed to be fine with other dogs, he was adopted out and lived in harmony for 6 to 8 months with another female GSD but then he started getting into fights and because of small children in the home, the family reluctantly gave him back. Mason went to another rescue and was adopted out to a couple with no dogs, unfortunately they are older and developed health issues and couldn't handle an active dog like Mason so here he is again. Mason is about 2 years old and he needs an active home, training and no other animals. He also needs a German Shepherd savvy home. Older kids over 12 years old would be fine if they are dog savvy also. Mason can play with certain female dogs but what his foster mom has discovered is when he is over stimulated it turns into a fight. This is a smart dog and in the right home he will shine but he needs exercise both mentally and physically, he is absolutely not a hang out in the backyard for hours by himself dog.
