About Callie

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black
  • Housetrained: Yes
I am a loving high active gal looking for my perfect forever home, complete with humans and canine companions that can keep up with my active life style. I love going for my morning walks and coming home to play fetch for hours-getting out and doing things makes me so happy. I also love to cuddle and take naps in your lap as I am like velcro I don’t leave your side, I want to be with my humans at all times. Riding in the side by side, going for hikes, camping and car rides are some of my favorite things. I know I’m deaf but my foster mom says I respond to my hand signals excellent and I just need my forever mom and dad to be patient and learn how to help me. In true Queensland Healer fashion I will heal my canine friends and get vocal when I’m not paid attention too. My foster mom says I remind her of a cat I’m mischievous, curious and jump after everything. I am crate trained but please don’t leave me to long as I have plenty of energy to burn before I curl up next to you in bed. I do follow my current foster sister and brothers so it is good that they are obedient and keep me out of harms way. My foster parents say I would be great at agility or flyball. I am good with kids but since I’m deaf I could startle easy so a home with young humans might not be the best fit. My foster mom says I’m extra special and will make a great lifelong friend for my perfect forever home. Callie is about 1.5 years old.
