Meet Thatcher!

This 7-month-old Anatolian mix is as sweet as they come! Neutered, gentle, and full of love, Thatcher is ready to find his forever family.

He adores people and is great with other dogs of all sizes. He’s also good with well-behaved children and loves soaking up attention from hhihiilillW

While he’s an Anatolian mix, Thatcher is not being adopted out as a Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD). Because we can’t be sure of his mix — and he’s currently lacking the confidence needed for that role — we want him placed as a beloved family member first. If he later shows guardian instincts, that’s a wonderful bonus! But if not, he’ll still be the perfect companion. ❤️

Thatcher walks nicely on a leash and is learning the world is a safe and happy place. He’s not a big fan of car rides right now (he gets a little carsick), but many dogs outgrow that with time and positive experiences.
